Net Galley: A New Addiction?

Friday, January 13th, 2012

I recently discovered netgalley.com. Here, I can’t describe it any better than they do:

NetGalley delivers secure, digital galleys to professional readers. If you are a reviewer, blogger, journalist, librarian, bookseller, educator, or in the media, you can use NetGalley for FREE to read and request titles before they are published. (www.netgalley.com)

You sign up, commit to posting reviews of the pre-publication books, and then you can browse their catalog of titles. I am particularly eager to dive into new thinking on leadership and teamwork, but I also found some other gems as well  – see post here on “The Peculiars” by Maureen Doyle McQuerry.

For those of you who have already scoured the shelves of the local bookstore or who are looking for *really fresh* work, you now have a source. If you find it as addicting as I expect I will, I’ll just apologize in advance!

Happy reading!
